Wooden box for glasses - 2025¶
Project Overview¶
I made this wooden box for glasses in October 2025. It's a practical storage solution that also looks good. The box protects eyeglasses while keeping them easily accessible. I focused on making both the outside and inside functional and well-organized.
The art of functional box making¶
Making a box for glasses isn't just about storage. The lenses need protection, but you also want to grab your glasses quickly. I had to balance making it sturdy with keeping it looking good. The goal was something practical that you'd actually want to keep on your desk.
Design philosophy¶
I focused on a few key things:
- Protection: The box keeps glasses safe from scratches and damage
